It's a Thursday night. I've just done my girlfriend duty and wished my friend luck on a first date. A friend with a boyfriend called to see what I was doing. Here is what I said along with what I was really doing.
-Friend: What are you doing tonight? Anything good?
-Me: Oh, you know, not much. Just having some me time [said while standing on the counter, changing a light bulb because I'm too lazy to get the ladder out].
I'll probably make something for dinner [waiting for the Chinese delivery guy who knows both my and my dog's name]. I might grab a drink with a couple friends later or go to the gym [watching Grey's Anatomy with a bottle of wine].
I need to get out more.
